New iTunes 9 Software Perfect for Ringtones

Apple recently released the upgraded version of iTunes, called iTunes 9. The most notable changes to the software are its new Home Sharing feature and massive changes to the iTunes Store; however, many of the changes you will find buried in Menu options you wouldn't normally think to check.
For example, iTunes 9 automatically runs a library management scheme to organize your folders. The iTunes that you currently have only does so if you specifically prompt it to do so, by following a series of clicks through the Menu, File > Library > Organize Library. iTunes 9 automatically does so, and creates a new folder inside ~/Music/iTunes called iTunes Media. This is where you downloads are stored; your iPid Games, Mobile Applications; TV shows; Movies; Music; Podcasts and Ringtones all go here. This scheme is much better organized - the current iTunes had these folders scattered in various places.
For people who love personalized ringtones (you know who you are: letting your phone ring those extra few seconds so you can hear you favourite line in a song) this is very beneficial. Instead of storing all of your Ringtones on your phone, where it eats away at the memory, you can store them in the Ringtones folder. Some people like to download a bunch of new ringtones at once, and only use one or two to personalize their cell phone contacts. Now, instead of storing the ringtones on the cell phone, you can keep them neat and organized on your computer. They are easily accessible, easy to find, and take up hardly any space on your computer. To transfer them, simply plug your phone into your iTunes, and you are set to start assigning a Ringtone to each of your contacts!
Technology users have grown both accustomed to and dependent on Ringtones. Using a different Ringtone to indicate who is calling has become the deciding factor in whether or not you will answer you phone. Ringtones tell us if we've received an email, or just a text. Ringtones tell us to answer the phone when Mom is calling and to ignore the phone when your in-law is calling. No matter what the need, ringtones are essential to filtering unwanted, unnecessary or it's-a-bad-time calls.
Ringtones also have a novel appeal because everyone's are different. They speak to who you are, what you currently like and exactly how long you can stand not answering your phone.
Ringtones vary across the Internet, but we've found the most compatible site with the new iTunes 9 to be http://www.freeringtone.com. Browse the site to find your perfect songs!
